Lauren Leddy begins her second season on Grymes Hill following a stellar playing career at Merrimack College.
Leddy captained her 2009 team to the Northeast-10 Conference Championships, falling to top-ranked New Haven in the semifinals. Her team-high 62 points in her senior season helped her earn All-Conference and All-Championship team honors.
A 2009 graduate, Leddy transitioned her passion for the game into the launch of Sure Skills Lacrosse, a community youth program that improved young campers fundamentals, fitness, and lacrosse IQ. Leddy also carried her coaching knowledge into the high school level in the spring of 2010, when she took over the Cranford High School (NJ) girls program, leading the Cougars to their first-ever appearance in the state tournament.
“Lauren's coaching experience has enabled her to develop into a well-rounded coach with innovation and great communication skills,” said Head Coach Cristina Curiale.
Along with her coaching duties, Leddy is pursuing masters degree in education.
