Thomas Choi

Thomas Choi serves as a graduate assistant coach with the Wagner Men’s and Women’s Golf staff for the 2025 season.
 
A former player with Wagner before joining the program's staff, over his collegiate career, he steadily developed into one of Wagner’s most consistent golfers, delivering strong performances year after year. As a graduate in 2024–25, he posted a 74.9 stroke average and shined at the Bucknell Invitational, finishing tied for third with a three-round score of 209 (-1). He added a runner-up finish at the La Salle Dual Match, two more top-10 results, and capped the season with a tie for 18th at the NEC Championship.

His senior campaign in 2023–24 marked his best scoring average at 73.5, highlighted by a first-place finish at the Metropolitan Intercollegiate with a two-round total of 142 (+2). He added multiple top-20 showings and placed 12th at the NEC Championship. As a junior in 2022–23, he broke through with a second-place finish at the NEC Tournament, earning All-NEC Tournament Team honors after shooting even par (78-69-69). That season also included All-NEC Second Team recognition, five top-20 finishes, and a win at the Metropolitan Intercollegiate, where he fired a season-low 66 to secure the title.

Toi attended Inova-Ação in São Paulo, Brazil where he was named to the Dean’s List. He posted a stroke average of 72, shooting a career-best 63 on a par 71.

The former golf’s team student athlete graduated from Wagner in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. He is currently doing a Master's of Business Administration with concentration on Finance intended to end in May 2026.
