Wagner College Director of Athletics Brendan Fahey has announced the hiring of Staten Island native Rick Perine as the Seahawks' new head women's golf coach.
Perine, who brings a plethora of coaching and playing experience to Grymes Hill, previously served as the head golf coach at Yeshiva University, coaching his team to a winning record in 2019. Prior to his time at Yeshiva, Perine also coached at Saint Joseph by the Sea high school, the Staten Island Golf Practice Center, and Island Green Indoor Golf.
Away from Wagner, Perine also serves as a golf professional at Hyatt Hills Golf Course in New Jersey, a post he has served since 2018. At Hyatt Hills, Perine gives golf lessons and coordinates junior golf clinics for over 100 golfers.
Perine holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems from SUNY Empire State College.
