Riss, born and raised in Frankfurt, Germany, graduated from St. Leo University in 2010 after spending three years on the women’s golf team and obtaining her bachelor of arts degree in Sport Business.
While at St. Leo, Riss was named Second Team Sunshine State All-Conference and was also an NGCA Academic All-American. Riss’ best collegiate finish was achieving medalist honors at the Flagler College Fall Slam, posting a 71-74. In her three years, Riss’ collegiate scoring average at St. Leo concluded at 77.3.
“Anna definitely has a solid game and her golf knowledge is superb,” Fourman added. “I look forward to the expertise that she is going to bring to the table as we ready for a highly anticipated 2011-2012 season.”
Aside from her coaching duties, Riss will also pursue her master’s degree in Business Administration.
