Roman Fedosieiev

Roman Fedosieiev was promoted into the role of head coach of the Wagner women's triathlon team in March 2020. Fedosieiev arrived on Grymes Hill in September 2018 as an assistant coach of the then-first year program.

An accomplished triathlete himself, the Ukrainian native currently participates competitively in the sport and has extensive coaching experience.

Fedosieiev has earned the distinction title of USA Triathlon All-American for the past three years (2017-2019) as his hard work, determination and outstanding performance over the course of the year have placed him in the top 10 percentile of the USA Triathlon National Rankings.

A USA Triathlon Level 1 Certified Coach, Roman Fedosieiev started competing in draft-legal Sprint and Olympic triathlons in 2013. He later qualified for the ITU Long Distance World Championships in 2016, when he also started to coach Ironman athletes.

Competing in triathlons from sprint draft-legal to full Ironman races, gave him great knowledge and experience that he uses in his day-to-day coaching.

“Triathlon is a true passion of mine and I love sharing my knowledge and dedication for the sport, as well as guiding others to reach their goals and aspirations”.

Fedosieiev obtained both his bachelor's and master's degrees from the National University of Kharkiv in Geography in 2013 and 2014, respectively.

In addition to his coaching duties, Fedosieiev will be pursuing a second master’s degree in business administration.
