Dominic Tobin joined the Swim & Dive coaching staff in 2024.
As a student, Tobin dove competitively at Lincoln-Way East HS in his hometown of Frankfort, Illinois. He helped his school win four consecutive sectional titles, and was named to the All-State team in his senior year. He would go on to dive at UMBC for four years, where he earned several accolades and top finishes.Â
Tobin earned silver medals at the ECAC Winter Championships in the 21-22 season, and was a two-time finalist in the America East Championships, placing 7th on the 3-meter board, and 8th on the 1-meter board. He was also named UMBC’s most improved player, and earned entry into Chi Alpha Sigma, a non-profit that honors student athletes that excel on and off the field of play.
Tobin is pursuing his MBA while at Wagner College.
