TiAna Jones

TiAna Jones was appointed as an assistant coach of the Wagner women's basketball program in September 2022.

"We are excited to welcome TiAna Jones to our coaching staff and our Wagner basketball family," head coach Terrell Coburn said. "Coach Jones brings a tremendous amount of experience and knowledge of the game to our program. Her ability to wear multiple hats is going to make a big difference for our staff and our day-to-day operations."

Prior to Wagner, Jones spent the 2021 season as the Video Specialist at Saint Joseph's University. At Saint Joseph's, Jones was responsible for editing practice video, creating recruitment videos, and overseeing all digital strategy for the program.

"I'm excited to join coach Coburn's staff and the Wagner basketball family," said Jones. "This team had a tremendous season last year and I'm ready to get going and make a difference right away and compete for a championship."

Prior to her time at Saint Joseph's, Jones was a graduate assistant at Faulkner University. At Faulker, Jones was responsible for developing the guards on the roster while implementing offensive schemes that lead to the highest points per game average in program history. Also, she played a huge role in the recruiting efforts in the program.

Jones is no stranger to the Philadelphia, PA area as she is a Drexel University graduate. At Drexel, she was the women's basketball manager from 2014-2018. As the manager, Jones trained and mentored new managers, assisted coaches with team travel and meal coordination while executing setup and breakdown for practices and games.

Jones joins a Wagner staff that features second-year head coach Terrell Coburn, second-year assistant Alycia Gervais and first-year assistant coach Kiera Carter.
