Michael Fifield

Michael Fifield enters his second year on the Wagner men's lacrosse staff as a volunteer coach. In addition to his coaching duties, he serves as director of the Wagner fitness center.

Fifield graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2018 with a Bachelor's of Science from Appalachian State University as a Psychology major with a concentration in Human Services. He was a member of the Dean's list in the spring of 2018 and the Chancellor’s List in the spring of 2016. Fifield was a two-year team Vice President, captain, and team MVP for Appalachian State men's lacrosse team.

On the lacrosse field, Fifield was named US Lacrosse Player of the Month in spring of 2017. He boasted the top save percentage amongst starters in the SouthEastern Lacrosse Conference (SELC) and was ranked in the top five of the Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA) for Division II. Fifield was also awarded SELC DII All-Conference Third team.
 
Prior to his time at App State, Fifield was a member of the Queens University of Charlotte DII men's lacrosse team.  In Spring 2014, he earned South Atlantic Conference Honor Roll.
 
Apart from his experience as a player, Fifield also brings a coaching background to Grymes Hill, as he worked as a coach for Chaminade Lacrosse Camp whee he instructed children of all ages and skill levels. Fifield also was the Lacrosse Activity Counselor and Head Coach of Sports at Camp Highlander.
 
In addition to his coaching duties, Fifield will serve as director of the College's’ fitness center, which serves the recreational needs of the Wagner Community by providing several facilities, including a large cardiovascular area, a separate free weight section, and stretching area.

During his time on Grymes Hill, Fifield is pursuing his Master’s Degree in Business Administration at Wagner.
