"I am very excited to take over as men's golf coach at Wagner. The program has been heading in a great direction the past few years and I have a great vision on how I'd like to expand it,” said Drago. “We have some very exciting young new players coming in this year, along with some key players returning which makes is a very solid from top to bottom. The sky is the limit this season and I’m excited to get going this fall!"

Drago began his collegiate career at the University of Hartford before transferring to Johnson &Wales where he was a member of two Sun Conference Championship teams and competed in the 2017 NAIA National Championship at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, IL.

Prior to embarking on his collegiate career, Drago was a four-year standout at Duxbury High School where he was the 2012 Massachusetts state sectional individual champion, in addition to finishing second in the state final as an individual.

Those efforts helped him earn 2012 Boston Globe and Boston Herald All Scholastic honors. A three-time Patriot Ledger All Scholastic selection (2010, 2011, and 2012), Drago was also a member of two Duxbury High state championship teams (2009, 2010).

Upon his graduation, the two-year team captain had the distinction of recording the lowest stroke average in Duxbury High School history.

In addition to his coaching responsibilities at Wagner, Drago will be pursuing a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
