Adeline Chung-Feder

Wagner fencing head coach David Sierra has announced the addition of Brooklyn native Adeline Chung-Feder to the coaching staff as an assistant coach ahead of the 2024-25 season.

“I’m extremely happy to have Coach Adeline on board with our growing program,” Sierra said. “She brings a passion for athlete-centered coaching and great energy.”

Chung-Feder joins the Wagner staff as an active committee member of the USA Fencing Association. She is a certified Prevot de Fleuret coach by USFCA and a board member for WFencing as well.

She has worked at South Brooklyn Fencing Club and the Prescod Institute of Sport, Teamwork, and Education. After beginning fencing in high school, she continued her athletic career at Brooklyn College, competing under Denise O’Conner for her four years at the school.

“Coaching involves more than just technical and tactical skills; it also includes mental health and overall athlete wellness,” Chung-Feder said. “My coaching philosophy centers around the athlete, emphasizing the importance of both mental and physical strength in creating a great athlete.”
