Wagner College Athletics

Lindsey Blommers joined the Wagner triathlon program in 2023 as an assistant coach.

Blommers bring a plethora of experience to Grymes Hill. She was team captain of the women’s triathlon team at Central College in Pella, Iowa for three years. As a part of the team she was also a part of the Student Athletic Advisory Council from 2020-2022. 

She was a DIII Second Team All-American twice and a Scholar All-American three times during her time at Central College. 

Blommers was also an assistant swim coach at South East Aquatics in Pella, Iowa. There, she designed swimming workouts based on athletes’ age, skill and level of performance, conducted and oversaw practice with athletes, taught basic swimming fundamentals, trained athletes to reach qualifying times for competitive meets, and developed individual training programs, among other tasks. 

Blommers earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Minor in Computer Science at Central College in 2022. She has certifications in CPR/AED, concussion protocol training and is expecting her CPA in 2025 after working as a tax audit intern at UHY, LLP in Des Moines, Iowa during the summer of 2022.

Apart from her coaching duties, Blommers will pursue a Master's Degree in Business Administration at Wagner.
