Marvin Clecidor joined the Wagner College staff in February, 2010 and will coach the Seahawks' secondary for the second straight season after spending the 2009 season as secondary coach at Wilkes College.
Clecidor is a 2009 graduate of Lafayette College where he was a standout defensive back and a two-time All-Patriot League performer for the Leopards. As a senior, he ranked third in the conference in pass deflections and led the team with 10 pass break-ups.
At Lafayette, he started 28 games in three years and was named the team defensive back MVP as a junior.
A native of Lakeland, FL, Clecidor was the Florida Classs 4A Football Scholar-Athlete of the Year and a member of the National Honor Society at Lake Gibson High School.
