Box Score

Bloomington, IN - The Wagner water polo team was defeated by the #13 Michigan Wolverines 12-6 in the first of three games the Green & White will see at the Fluid Five Tournament at Indiana University.

Senior Billy Hoelck (San Diego, CA/University of San Diego) headed the Seahawk scoring with two goals. The rest of the scoring was spread out between Alexandra Tomlinson (Telford, PA/Souderton), Laura vanderBent (Shillington, PA/Mifflin), Natalie Pyrz (Harleysville, PA/Souderton Area), and Amber McMichael (Reading, PA/Governor Mifflin) who each netted one.

Senior Camille Karimzad (Walnut Creek, CA/Campolindo) dished out two assists while Yvette Viramontes (Montebello, CA/Rio Hondo) and Tomlinson also notched one assist.

Freshman goalie Kristen Spector (Camp Hill, PA/Cumberland Valley) saved four in the loss with five steals.

Wagner has host Indiana University next in the second of two games for the day at 7:00 PM.
