Wagner managed just three hits in the contest, including two from freshman Kate Eshelman (Reno, NV / McQueen). Sophomore Andrea Lazzari (Reno, NV / Wooster) added the other single with one out in the seventh to help set up the Seahawks best scoring opportunity of the game. Pinch runner Cindy Bagnoli (Old Tappan, NJ / N. Valley Regional) took over on the base paths and moved to second when Victoria Batistelli (Huntington Beach, CA / Huntington Beach) was hit in the leg by a pitch.
