Moon Township, PA - The Wagner College men's lacrosse team lost their season opener to Ohio State University (1-1-0, 0-0-0 GWLL) in a non-conference showdown at Joe Walton Stadium this afternoon. They fall to a record of (0-1-0, 0-0-0 MAAC) in the early season.

Junior midfielder Ryan Martin (Florham Park, NJ/Bayley Ellard) scored the Seahawks' lone goal, an unassisted score that came in the second quarter that finally put them on the board after the Buckeyes had jumped out to a commanding 12-0 advantage.

The Seahawks stay in the Pittsburgh area for their next game this Sunday when they take on host Robert Morris University at Joe Walton Stadium at 1 p.m.
