Trailing 41-29 a few minutes into the second half, the Seahawks went on a 13-0 run to take their first lead of the game at 42-41 at the 15:41 mark. Mundweiler's fourth three of the game capped off the run which was also fueled by five points from junior James Ulrich (Mt. Laurel, NJ / Camden Catholic).
The teams would then keep it close and trade baskets over the next five minutes, as Wagner was taking two more leads of one point each again following threes from Mundweiler. After the final Wagner lead of 53-52 with 11 minutes left the Leopards outscored the Seahawks 10-1 over the next four minutes to move in control by eight (62-54) with seven minutes left.
