Erin Kerstetter were named the Northeast Conference Women's Lacrosse Player and Rookie of the Week, respectively, the league office announced on Monday.
Ednie accounted for six points on five goals and one assist in leading Wagner to its first-ever victory over Columbia, a 14-10 home win on March 28 in the Seahawks' lone game of the week. In addition to her five goals, which tied a career high, the Verona, NJ native collected a game-high five ground balls and came up with four draw controls. For the game, Ednie was 2-of-3 on free position shots and was credited with two caused turnovers.
For Ednie, this marks the first weekly conference honor that she has won in her career and is the first NEC Player of the Week nod earned by a Seahawk this season, though senior goalie
Lucy Darlington was named the league's Defensive Player of the Week back on March 5.

Erin Kerstetter scored two goals and collected seven draw controls, a season high for the Wagner this season, in the impressive victory over Columbia. Kerstetter's two goals came on just three shots. The South Jersey native, who picks up her first career NEC weekly honor, also contributed two ground balls and one caused turnover in the victory.
Kerstetter is Wagner's second NEC Rookie of the Week honoree this season as fellow freshman midfielder
Ally Alliegro has copped this honor three times – on March 5, March 12, and March 28.
The Seahawks' win over Columbia improved the Seahawks' record to 5-4 as the Green & White have now concluded their non-conference slate. Wagner will kick off Northeast Conference (NEC) play this weekend with the Western Pennsylvania swing, playing at Robert Morris on Friday, April 6 in a 3:00 p.m. start, before meeting the Saint Francis U Red Flash on Sunday, April 8 at 1:00 p.m.
