Dylan Walters (Johannesburg, South Africa / St Stithians Boys' College) and junior
Anatoliy Lashkul (Kiev, Ukraine / High School #78) represented the Wagner men's tennis program at the 2017 ITA Northeast Regionals, held on the campus of the Yale University.
In the qualifying round, Walters was edged by Marc Sable of Boston University, 6-3; 6-4. In the Round of 128, Lashkul was defeated by Davey Roberts of Princeton, 6-4; 6-2.
In the consolation bracket, Walters was victorious over Fairfield's Anthony Caputo, 6-4, 7-6 while Lashkul suffered a 6-3, 7-5 setback to Monmouth University's Sergio Martinez.
In doubles action, the tandem of Columbia's Rian Pandole and Michal Rolski bested Lashkul and Walters, 8-5.
Walters/Lashkul and the rest of the Seahawks close out the fall schedule on Saturday, October 28, when they host Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference members, Siena. The match is set to begin at 2:00 p.m. at the Wagner Tennis Courts.
