Riddle Garners Third Defensive Player Of The Week Award This Season

Edison, NJ – Sophomore goalie Emily Riddle (Edmonton, Alberta/ Dr. E.P. Scarlett) has been selected as the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Defensive Player of the Week, the league office announced today.

Riddle, who picked up her third Defensive Player of the Week accolade in a five week span, put forth a tremendous defensive effort in leading the Green & White to a 6-4 victory over #14 ranked Pacific at the Aggie Invitational, hosted by #10 UC Davis. In all, the Edmonton, Alberta native notched 21 blocks, averaging seven saves a contest and posting a goals against average of 4.67.
