Lundgren, Riddle Tabbed MAAC Offensive and Defensive Players Of The Week

Edison, NJ – Junior center Jess Lundgren (Queensland, Australia / Mountain Creek) and sophomore goalie Emily Riddle (Edmonton, Alberta/ Dr. E.P. Scarlett) have been named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week following their performances at the Princeton Invitational, the league office announced today.

The reigning MAAC Defensive Player of the Year, Lundgren once again showed off her scoring touch this weekend as she tallied 10 goals, five assists, five steals and also drew four exclusions in the Seahawks two victories over Ivy League opponents, Harvard and Brown. The Australian native was a force at the center position as she converted 67% of her shots while pacing the Green & White in goals for in contests.

Riddle's defensive prowess was on display as she blocked six shots in each game of the Princeton Invitational holding both opponents under 10 goals.
