Hannah Lewis of the Wagner College softball team were named to the 2018 All-Northeast Conference (NEC) All-Conference Second Team, the league office announced on Wednesday.
Prihoda was named an All-Conference selection for the third consecutive season after becoming the NEC's regular season batting champion with a .380 average. The junior once again led the Seahawks in nearly every offensive category while tying for second on the all-time single season list with 15 doubles, which also led the conference.
In addition, the New Jersey native finished second in the league with a .627 slugging percentage, 38 runs, and 54 hits this season.
Following this season, Prihoda is already one of Wagner's most decorated softball players ever after being named First Team All-NEC, CoSIDA Academic All-District, and NFCA All-Region First Team as a sophomore and NEC Rookie of the Year as a freshman.
Lewis earns her first NEC honor as an outfielder after leading Wagner with a .425 batting average in conference play. Against league foes, the sophomore collected 17 hits and 3 RBIs. On the season, Lewis was second on the team with a .359 average and 23 hits.
The sophomore came on strong late in the season, recording at least one hit in six of Wagner's last eight games while recording four multi-hit games over that span.
This marks the second consecutive year that Wagner has placed at least two players on the NEC's All-Conference teams.
The Northeast Conference Championship will be contested this weekend at regular season champion Saint Francis U.
