Staten Island, NY – The 2018 calendar year has been a good one for former Wagner football standouts as five former Seahawks now appear on professional rosters.
Greg Senat – Baltimore Ravens
Offensive Line, 6-6, 310
*Recently-graduated offensive lineman
Greg Senat made headlines by becoming the second Seahawk ever to be selected in the NFL draft, when he was selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the sixth round, joining Rich Kotite, who was selected in the 18th round of the 1965 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings.
*Four-year member of the Seahawk men's basketball team, Senat went on football scholarship prior to the 2016 season and became a fixture on the Seahawk offensive line, starting all 22 games that he played in during his two-year gridiron career
*In 2016-17, the Long Island native helped the Wagner hoops team to a 16-14 season as a senior before competing solely in football during the 2017 season as a fifth-year senior.

Matt Diaz – Tennessee Titans
Offensive Line, 6-6, 295
*On May 11,
Matt Diaz, who was an anchor at the all-important left tackle position the past four years, signed a free agent contract with the NFL's Tennessee Titans.
*In 2017, the Edison, NJ native earned his second consecutive First-Team All-NEC honor after starting all 11 games at left tackle for the second straight season.
*Along with his obvious pass protection abilities, his explosion at the point of attack in the running game helped the Green & White rush for 1,727 yards, with eight games of 150 yards or more, and helped pave the way for junior RB
Ryan Fulse to become the nation's third-leading rusher.

Julian Stanford – Buffalo Bills
Linebacker, 6-1, 230
*Back in March, former Wagner standout and veteran NFL linebacker Julian Stanford signed a two-year contract with the Buffalo Bills after appearing in 25 games for the New York Jets over the past two seasons, including all 16 games in 2017.
*Entering his seventh season in the NFL, the Bloomfield, CT native came up with 19 tackles last season for the Jets, primarily as a contributor on special teams, where he took a team-high 82 percent of the Jets' snaps.
*After graduating from Wagner in 2012, the Bloomfield, CT native entered the NFL as a free agent with the Jacksonville Jaguars, where he spent played in all 16 games with six starts as a rookie.
*After playing in 18 games in 2013-14 with the Detroit Lions, he then split the 2015 season on the practice squads of both the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Jets.
*For his career, Stanford has appeared in 59 NFL games (10 starts), with 69 total tackles.
In addition to Stanford, and the three others Seahawks mentioned above who are chasing their NFL dreams, a pair of former Wagner players have recently inked free agent contract with teams north of the border in the CFL.

Mathieu Loiselle
Linebacker, 5-11, 220
*On May 15,
Mathieu Loiselle was selected by the Toronto Argonauts in the seventh round (60
th overall) of the 2018 CFL Draft.
*Before signing a two-year contract with the Argonauts, the Quebec native played in 41 games across four seasons at Wagner, posting 57 total tackles, three sacks and seven tackles for a loss as a Seahawk.
*Had a career year in 2017, posting 28 tackles, seven tackles for a loss and three sacks as a senior.
*He was named to the NEC Fall Academic Honor Roll in all five years at Wagner.
Dominique Willliams
Running Back, 5-9, 205
*One of the top rushers in Wagner and NEC history,
Dominique Williams finished his brilliant career, which spanned from 2009-12, with 4,435 yards, third-most in school history.
*The South Jersey native reached the 1,000+ rushing mark in three different seasons and rushed for 100+ yards in 26-of-43 games.
*Williams Wagner to a win over Colgate in the FCS playoffs in the school's first playoff appearance, becoming the first, and to this day only, NEC team to win a playoff game in football.
*He ranks fourth in conference history in rushing yards (4,435) and all-purpose yards (5,444).
