Poughkeepsie, NY – The No. 18 Wagner women's water polo team (22-6, 14-0 MAAC) garnered two major individual awards at the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Awards Banquet as senior utility
Kimberly Watson was selected as the league's Offensive Player of the Year and head coach
Chris Radmonovich was named BSN Sports MAAC Coach of the Year. Additionally, Watson, Hardy and Begg were named All-MAAC selections.
Radmonovich wins his third career Coach of the Year award, as he has guided his team to a 22-6 overall record and 14-0 MAAC record in his eigth season. Wagner is the #1 seed in the MAAC Tournament, and has not lost a MAAC league game since 2015.
A top playmaker for the Seahawks throughout the 2018 season, Watson recorded 147 points on 99 goals and 48 assists. Her 147 points this season ranks No. 1 in NCAA Division 1. The Pointe Claire, Quebec native has amassed 283 goals and 148 assists in her career on Grymes Hill and joins the All-MAAC First Team as a unanimous selection for the second straight year.
Junior attack
Erica Hardy joins Watson on the All-MAAC First Team as a unanimous selection after notching 132 points in her junior campaign. Hardy ranks second in the MAAC in assists with 58 on the year, behind teammate redshirt sophomore
Kristy Donkin's 63. The Green & White also totaled one member on the All-MAAC Second Team in senior attack
Elise Begg. Begg has compiled 68 points on 33 goals and 35 assists this season while also grabbing 43 steals. The Newbury Park, CA native is now a two time member of the All-MAAC Second Team since earning the honor last year.
The Seahawks also led the way on the All-Academic Team as all 11 eligible players earned a spot on the team. In order to be eligible, a student-athlete must spend two full semesters at the institution and post a 3.2 cumulative GPA.

In addition to the individual awards, the program was recognized for its third-straight regular season title after posting a perfect 14-0 conference record. This marks the third consecutive year that the Seahawks have gone undefeated in league play. The 2018 senior class has emerged victorious in 102 matches throughout their time in a Seahawk cap.
