Staten Island, NY – With the annual Green & White Game scheduled for Sunday, April 29 at Noon, wagnerathletics.com caught up with Associate Head Coach Tom Masella following Thursday morning's practice for his insights on how spring practice has gone.  He also reflects on his return to his alma mater, where he was hired in February.

A Staten Island native, Masella was four-year standout player at Wagner College, the last of which was spent playing for then first-year head coach Walt Hameline. A captain, 1981 graduate and a former Seahawk assistant coach, Masella went on to become head coach at five different colleges , most recently at Fordham University.

He has had success in the Northeast Conference as well, as he was 15-6 during his two his seasons as head coach at Central Connecticut St., leading the Blue Devils to back-to-back NEC titles for the first time in school history while being named the Conference's Coach of the Year in 2004.
