Staten Island, NY - The Wagner College football team will hold its final two practice sessions of the spring as the Seahawks point towards the annual Green & White Game on Sunday, April 29 at Noon inside Wagner College Stadium.
Each FCS football program is allotted 15 spring practice sessions prior to its spring game. Practice number 14 for the Seahawks will take place on Thursday, April 26 from 7:00 am-9:00 am on the Stadium Turf. Wagner's 15
th and final practice of the spring will be held on Saturday, April 28 from 8:30 am-10:30 am on the Grass Practice Field behind the stadium grandstand.

Wagner, under the direction of
Walt Hameline, who will enter his 32
nd season as Seahawk head coach this fall with a 204-122-2 (.624) record, is using the spring to improve fundamental skills and install new offensive, defensive and special teams plays.
There have been several noteworthy additions to the Seahawk coaching staff during the off-season.
Tom Masella has been tabbed as associate head coach. A former Seahawk standout player, assistant coach and most recently the head coach of Fordham, Masella will also head up the Seahawk special teams and secondary units.
After leading the Seahawks to the head of the Northeast Conference (NEC) in several major statistical categories in his one season as defensive coordinator in 2010,
Malik Hall returns to Grymes Hill in the same role after serving the 2011 season as the defensive line coach at UMass.
Also in the offseason, Wagner added former Rutgers record-setting quarterback Mike Teel to the staff as quarterbacks coach. Teel served as quarterbacks coach at Kean University in 2011, helping to lead the Cougars to a 10-2 record.
Wagner returns leading rusher
Dominique Williams (Bridgeton, NJ/ Bridgeton), who will be a junior this fall. The dynamic and elusive 5-9, 200-pound accumulated a staggering 1,338 yards on the ground in 2011, good for sixth on the school's all-time single-season rushing list. Williams is also in eighth place on the Wagner all-time rushing list with 1,982 career yards.
Quarterback
Nick Doscher (Staten Island, NY/ Moore Catholic), is No. 1 on the Wagner career total offense list with 6,037 yards. Doscher, who missed one full game and parts of several others due to an assortment of injuries, finished the 2011 season with 909 yards passing with seven touchdowns and six interceptions. He also netted 290 yards rushing (including sacks), good for second on the team.
Doscher has been held out of contact this spring as he recovers from post-season surgery and will not play in the Green & White Game. One newcomer who has made his presence felt at quarterback is junior college mid-year transfer
Kramer Berg (Plymouth, MN / Wayzala/ Rochester Community & Technical), a sturdy 6-3, 210-pound NJCAA All-American who passed for 2,341 yards and 28 touchdowns with just three interceptions last season last season.
Also competing hard this spring at the signal-caller position is 6-2 sophomore
Matt Misley (Park Ridge, NJ/ Park Ridge), who played in seven games with one start in 2011, completing 35-of-84 passes for 353 yards. Another QB prospect is 5-9
Marshyl Rothman (Jupiter, FL/ Jupiter Christian), a Murray St. transfer, along with left-handed freshman quarterback
Chris Andrews (Queens, NY/ Valley Forge Military Academy (PA), who starred at prep power St. Joseph's of Montvale, NJ before spending a prep school year at Valley Forge.
Junior
Joe Sidaras (Mastic Beach, NY/ William Floyd) emerged as a legitimate pass-catching threat as the Hofstra transfer finished second on the team receptions with 20 while leading the Seahawks with 293 receiving yards in his first season on Grymes Hill in 2011. The diminutive, yet speedy 5-foot-7 dynamo
Wandy Saintilien (Miami, FL/ ASA Institute) is a big play waiting to happen who arrived on the scene last year to finish second on in receiving yards (176) and third in receptions (15).
Senior
Steve Ciocci (Royersford, PA / Spring-Ford) is the anchor of the offensive line. The 6-3, 290-pound Cicocci started all 11 games at right tackle and is primed for a big senior season.
Defensively, Wagner returns a pair of productive seniors in
Mike Lombardo (Jupiter, FL/ Jupiter, FL), the 2011 team-leader in tackles with 82, along with 8.5 tackles for loss, six sacks, one interception and one forced fumble. A transfer from Arkansas St., Lombardo will be entering his second season as a Seahawk this fall.
Classmate
Carl-Olivier Prime (Quebec, Canada/ the Kent School) had 81 stops last season, second on the team, and added four forced fumbles, three pass breakups, one sack and one interception from his linebacker spot. This spring, Prime has been spending the bulk of his time at nose tackle.
Junior safety Patrick O'Connor (Leominster, MA / Leominster) is the team's third-leading returning tackler with 55. The Seahawks also feature a pair of big-play cornerbacks in sophomore
Jarrett Dieudonne (Fort Lauderdale, FL/ Dillard) and junior
Torian Phillips (Staten Island, NY/ Port Richmond), who combined for six interceptions, 10 pass breakups and four forced fumbles in 2011.
The Seahawks' off-season program has been buoyed by the momentum built by a season-ending three-game winning streak that allowed Wagner to finish the 2011 season with a 4-4 NEC record and an overall mark of 4-7.
Wagner will kick off the 2012 season on Friday, August 31 when the Seahawks travel to FBS member Florida Atlantic.
