Emmitsburg, MD – Sophomore
Zachary Spector (Yaphank, NY/Longwood) and the 4x800-meter relay team both had season-best finishes in their respective events at the Northeast Conference (NEC) Championships on Saturday. Spector had the most impressive finish – placing sixth out of 22 athletes in the 10,000-meter run with a time 32:16.82.

James Johnston (Middle Island, NY/Longwood), sophomore
Colin Macdonald (Dix Hills, NY/Commack), senior
Kevin Kearney (Haddonfield, NJ/St. Joe's Prep), and junior
Brian Doxey (West Islip, NY/West Islip), finished just ahead of the team's prevouis season-best time of 7:57.80 . They finished sixth of out of 11 teams with a 7:57.27 time.
Other impressive finished include senior
Matt Villane (Monmouth Beach, NJ/Shore Regional) in the 400-meter hurdles and sophomore Thomas Ianncone (Havertown, PA/St. Joe's Prep) in the 1500-meter run. Both qualified for the finals in their respective events.
The men are currently in tenth place with six team points. Monmouth leads the way with 70.5 total points.
