"We are very excited for Jason to join us in the fall. I am certain that he is going to make an immediate impact for us and will have a solid college career,” said assistant coach Chris Fourman. "We brought Jason to campus in the fall for a visit and I knew right away that he was a quality student-athlete that would really benefit our program, both on the course and in the classroom.”

Also joining the Seahawk squad for the 2010-2011 season will be Mathias, a 6'2" 180 pound performer who hails from Martinsburg, West Virginia were he attends Martinsburg High School.

Mathias is a four-year letterwinner for the Martinsburg Bulldogs where he is currently the captain of his team. The Martinsburg native named to the Apple Valley All-Conference team his junior and senior years.

"I know Eric is very excited about joining us in the fall and the feelings are certainly mutual,” said Fourman. “After meeting with Eric on several visits, I am confident that he is going to work hard during his four years at Wagner to progress his game to the next level. I have seen his swing video and selected scores from his tournament play over the past year and I am certain he has the tools we are looking for."
