Jessica Hart (Montreal, Canada / Northwest) has been named Northeast Conference (NEC) Winter Scholar-Athlete of the Year for the second consecutive year in the sport of swimming.
Hart concluded her decorated career with another stellar performance at the 2010 NEC Swimming & Diving Championships in February. A year after setting the meet record in the 100 butterfly, she made it back-to-back individual titles, touching the wall in a season-best time of 55.24. She also took second in the 200 butterfly (2:06.81) and was part of four medal-winning relay teams, finishing second in the 200 freestyle, along with third in the 200 medley, 400 medley and 400 freestyle.
In total, Hart earned All-Conference honors in six different events at the meet. She went on to finish second in the 100 butterfly at the ECAC Championships. Hailing from Montreal, Canada, she is a Business Administration major, with a grade point average of 3.54.
