Staten Island, NY- The Wagner College men's golf team has officially announced the signing of
Tommy Arison to its 2010 roster.
Arison hails from Fairlawn, Ohio, where he attends Archbishop Hoban High School. He is the son of Bob and Daleen Arison, and has an older brother Daniel. Arison will be joining the Seahawks in the fall of 2010, and he is expected to make an immediate impact in the program.
The 5'9", 145 pound shot maker, carries a USGA handicap of 2.0 and was a clear-cut leader for his team at Hoban under Coach John Baranek. He has consistently fired rounds in the mid to low 70's over the past two seasons and was recognized by the Coaches Association of Northern Ohio as an outstanding player, earning a spot on their selected First Team.
“I know Tommy is very excited to begin his collegiate career and we in the Athletics Department know that he is going to do special things both on and off the golf course at Wagner College, said Assistant coach
Chris Fourman. “He is a great young man from a great family and I am elated to have him join our program in the fall.”
