Somerset, NJ - The Wagner men's and women's tennis teams have each been awarded No. 9 seeds for the annual 2010 Northeast Conference (NEC) tournament (April 16-17) to be held at the Mercer County Park in West Windsor, NJ.

The men's team will square off with No. 8 Robert Morris in the lone outbracket match on Friday, April 16 at 9:00 am. If the Seahawks win they will play top-seeded Sacred Heart later that day no earlier than 4:30 pm. The loser will finish ninth.

On the women's side, the ninth seeded Seahawks, like their male counterparts, will do battle with Robert Morris at 9:00 am.  With the the Green & White will take on No. 1 Fairleigh Dickinson no earlier than 4:30 pm. The loser will face off against the loser of the No. 7 Monmouth/No. 10 St. Francis (NY) match later that day no earlier than 2:00 pm.

Both teams conclude their regular season at Rider on Wednesday, April 14.
