Jessica Hart's (Montreal, Canada / Northwest) second place performance in the 100 butterfly.
The Green & White started off day two of the competition with a seventh-place finish in the 200 medley relay (1:52.40). The relay team consisted of sophomore
Breanne Sweeney (Staten Island, NY / Notre Dame Academy), sophomore
Patricia Gavin (Staten Island, NY / Staten Island Tech), freshman
Alanna Gibbons (Staten Island, NY / Staten Island Tech) and sophomore
Jakki Guenther (South Hadley, MA / South Hadley HS).
Hart, the current ECAC record holder in the 100 butterfly, notched her second-place finish in 55.79, just .34 of a second behind the winner Erin McGraw from Colgate University.
The Seahawks concluded day two with an 11th place finish in the 800 freestyle relay, clocking in at 7:58.10. The relay team was compiled of Guenther, sophomore
Lauren Meyer (Hamden, CT / Hamden HS), Sweeney and junior
Sarah Plucinsky (Allentown, PA / Allentown Central Catholic).
Wagner will complete its action at the ECAC Championships tonight, February 28th. Finals are set to begin at 4:00 PM.
