Staten Island NY - The Wagner College football program has announced the signings of tight end Christian Hanna and defensive lineman Lawrence Williams, former teammates at Milford Academy, a top prep program in Milford, NY, who will reunite as Seahawks this fall.

Hanna, a 6-3, 240-pound tight end hails from Shaker Heights, OH and possesses a blend of size, agility and soft hands. Hanna was a four-year starter for the Red Raiders at tight end an H-back and snared 38 receptions for 512 yards and four TDs. A team captain, Hanna was rated a Top-100 player in Ohio and a top-100 tight in the nation by ESPN/Scouts, Inc and was invited to the Max Emfinger All-American Bowl.

Williams, a native of Philadelphia, PA, is a 6-1, 255-pound defensive tackle who plays the game with high energy and emotion and is expected to compete for a spot in the Seahawk two-deep in 2009. Both Williams and Hanna will be freshman in the fall of 2009 and each will have four years of eligibility.
