Somerset, NJ- Seahawk junior Jessica Hart (Summerfield, NC/ Northwest HS) was named Northeast Conference (NEC) Swimmer of the Week for her stellar performance last weekend against Sacred Heart University and Columbia University. 

Hart garnered this recognition after swimming to two individual first-place finishes, as well as contributing on two victorious relay squads. The Summerfield, NC native won the 100 yard butterfly event against Sacred Heart with a pool-record time of 57.28, which ranks second in the league, as she already holds the top time of 57.12. Hart also finished atop the pack against Columbia in the 100 yard butterfly, clocking in at 57.86. 

Wagner is currently 6-2 overall and 3-0 in the NEC on the season. The Seahawks return to action Saturday, January 31 when they travel to New Britain, CT to face Central Connecticut St.
