STATEN ISLAND, NY - WNBC-TV News aired a story on Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2010, by reporter Roseanne Colletti about Wagner College's #1 ranking on U.S. News & World Report's annual list of up-and-coming regional universities:

For the second year in a row, Wagner College made the #1 spot in the U.S. News & World Report's Best Colleges ranking of “Up-and-Comers” among Northern Regional Universities.

And, for the seventh year running, Wagner appeared among the Top 25 Northern Regional Universities, overall, on the annual Best Colleges list, which was released today. Wagner finished in a four-way tie for #25.

Staten Island, NY- The Wagner College women’s swim team capped off its 2009-2010 season with a third-place finish at the Northeast Conference (NEC) Championships and a 12th-place finish at the Eastern College Athletics Conference (ECAC) Championships. The Seahawk wrapped up their season with a 5-6 overall mark, 4-1 in the NEC.

The Seahawks’ day was highlighted by senior #Jessica Hart#’s (Montreal, Canada / Northwest) second place performance in the 100 butterfly.

Pittsburgh, PA- The Wagner College women’s swim team finished 12th after its first day of competition at the Eastern College Athletics Conference (ECAC) Championships. Held at the University of Pittsburgh’s Trees Pool, Wagner is competing against a field of 18 teams.

Pittsburgh, PA- Coming off a third-place finish at the 2010 Northeast Conference Championships on February 13th, the Wagner College women’s swimming team looks to be a major competitor in the Eastern College Athletics Conference (ECAC) Championships this weekend (Feb. 26-28).

New Haven, CT- The Wagner College women’s swim team completed the three-day long Northeast Conference (NEC) Championships with a third-place finish. Throughout the competition Wagner tallied a 318 point total while Central Connecticut State came in second with 508.50 and Saint Francis (PA) in first with 556.60.
