Wagner takes Sixth at Hawk Spring Invitational

Lakewood, NJ- The Wagner College women’s golf team finished sixth last weekend at Monmouth University’s Hawk Spring Invitational held at the par 72, 5810 yard Eagle Ridge Golf Course. Leading the Green & White in the invitational was freshman #Miko Page# (Brooklyn, NY/ Edward R Murrow), who tied for 14th in the 39-player competition.

Wagner Unveils Dr. Gregory P. Knapp '66 H'00 Strength Room

Staten Island, NY – The Wagner College athletics department formally dedicated the modern, fully-functional 3,076 square foot Dr. Gregory P. Knapp '66 H'00 Strength Room in the Spiro Sports Center on Friday. Following the dedication, an Open House for students, faculty and staff, complete with tours of the facility, took place throughout the afternoon.

Noreen Morris Named Commissioner of Northeast Conference

Somerset, NJ -- The Northeast Conference has named Noreen Morris as Commissioner, it was announced today by Vice Admiral Paul Gaffney, President of Monmouth University and President of the NEC Council of Presidents. Morris will assume her duties with the conference on January 4, 2010.

Women’s Golf Places Ninth at ECAC Championships

Williamsburg, VA- The Wagner College women’s golf team finished ninth last weekend at the ECAC Championships held at the Par 72, 6,345 yard Kiskiack Golf Club. Pacing the squad for the Seahawks was junior captain #Dena Smith# (Highland Heights, OH / Beaumont), who tied for 33rd in the 55 person field.

Women’s Golf Finishes 12th at Mt. Holyoke Invitational

South Hadley, MA- The Wagner College women’s golf team finished 12th this weekend at the Par 72, 5,880 yard Orchard Golf club. Leading the pack for the Seahawks was freshman #Miko Page# (Brooklyn, NY / Edward R Murrow), finishing tied for 33rd in the field of 80 competitors.
