Staten Island, NY - Kevin Papa has been named the head men's and women's tennis coach as announced by Wagner Athletic Director Walt Hameline. Papa takes over for long-time head coach Ed Perpetua, who resigned to pursue other professional opportunities.

Papa, who played competitive tennis at both the high school and collegiate levels, served the last six years as the head volleyball coach at Wagner before the program was discontinued last spring.. During that time, he led Wagner to the 2006 Northeast Conference (NEC) Volleyball Tournament.

The Mahway, NJ native is a passionate coach who has shown the ability to recruit nationally.

The women's team returns six letterwinners while the men's team brings back three letterwinners.
