San Diego, CA - The Wagner softball team ended play at the Aztec Invitational suffering a 16-2 loss to Indiana St earlier today.

The Seahawks (0-5) fell behind 7-0 after the bottom of the first inning before scoring once in the second. The Sycamores would then put up two more in the second and another seven int eh third before a final run by Wagner in the fourth. Only 10 of the runs were earned as Wagner comitted four errors in the game.

Junior Christina Hopkins (Edison, NJ / Edison) doubled and scored in the second for the Seahawks, while sophomore Victoria Batistelli (Huntington Beach, CA / Huntington Beach) singled and scored in the fourth.

Junior Morgan Miller (Las VEgas, NV / Siverado) was charged witht he loss on the hill.
