Frank Spero was a two-sport athlete at Wagner earning four letters in football and three in baseball. During his illustrious athletic career he saw action on the gridiron at guard, center and linebacker while patrolling the infield on the diamond. A 1963 graduate, he played in every game during his four year football career, helping the Seahawks to a 25-9-1 record and was instrumental in the program's first undefeated season in 1960. As a senior in 1962, he was named team MVP, while earning All-MAC, All East College Division and All Mid-Atlantic Conference honors. Also a Robb Homecoming Trophy recipient, Spero was a co-captain and played in every minute of every game as a senior. He now lives in Colts Neck, NJ with his wife Stephanie '62 After retiring as a FBI agent where he partnered with fellow Hall of Fame Inductee Matty Tricorico he lives in Colts Neck, New Jersey with his wife and fellow Wagner graduate Stephanie (Class of 1962).
