It was 1960 and head coach Mickey Sullivan announced at the beginning of the season, "We're going to win them all." If there was thunder and lightning on that 1960 team, Frank Melos was the thunder. When a touchdown was needed, and the goal line was in sight, Melos was not to be denied. He amassed 232 career points and was also an old school two-way player, seeing time as a cornerback on a stingy defensive unit. A two-sport athlete, He was also the catcher on the baseball team and graduated in 1962. He and his wife Eleanor have two children; Laurie and Glenn.
