Dean Borges (1986-1991) burst onto the scene as the NEC Newcomer of the Year as a freshmen. One year later Borges took home First-Team All NEC accolades while scoring 25.4 points per game, which still stands as one of the top-five single-season marks in school history. Thought by many to be the purest three point shooter in Seahawk history, he currently ranks fifth in scoring (1,660 points) and field goals (586).
Twice Borges established a then school-record with seven three pointers in a game and is third all-time in career three pointers (218). A 45 percent shooter over his career he has played professionally in Puerto Rico for 14 years and been ranked as one of the top 50 Puerto Rican players of all time.
