Bruce Wilson was one of the top multi-sport athletes of his time, standing out on the gridiron and the diamond. One of the top wide receivers in school history, Wilson graduated as the Wagner single-season record, snaring a program-best nine in 1961. That same year, he finished the season with 30 catches for 608 yards, both of which ranked among the Seahawk elite at the time, after being a key contributor to the 1960 undefeated team (9-0). Wilson also excelled for the baseball team as a pitcher. He posted an 11-8 record with a 3.12 ERA, currently third in Seahawk history, and was a Metropolitan Collegiate Baseball Conference All-Star in 1960 and 1961.
