Staten Island, NY – Senior forward Llew Radford (Newport News, VA/ Heritage) poured in 26 points, his second consecutive career-high scoring output, and pulled down 12 rebounds to lead Wagner to a 59-44 victory over Saint Peter’s.

Staten Island, NY – Senior Andy Wells was named the 22nd-best prospect in the wood bat Great Lakes Summer League by Allan Simpson in association with the league managers and scouts. Pitching for the Xenia Athletes In Action, Wells was third in the league with 42 strikeouts, including a Great Lakes League-best 18 strikeouts looking.

Piscataway, NJ – Senior #Alexandra Tomlinson# (Telford, PA/ Souderton) turned in a second-place finish in the grueling 1650 yard freestyle with a time of 17:24.29 and swam the first leg in helping Wagner to a third place finish in the 800 yard freestyle relay (7:57.07), as the Seahawks finished fourth in the inaugural Frank Elm Super Splash held at Rutgers University’s Werblin Recreation Center.

Staten Island, NY – The Wagner College water polo team held its first annual alumni game with a wide array of participation from members of the 2003 MAAC Championship team to last year’s graduating class.

Bronx, NY – The men’s cross country team took 25th place out of a field of 33 at the 2008 NCAA Division I Regional Championships as the Seahawks team time of 2:57.7 for the ten kilometer course, bettered Northeast Conference (NEC) foes Sacred Heart and Central Connecticut State University.

Staten Island, NY – Wagner concluded its season with a 3-1 loss to Fairleigh Dickinson on senior day at the Spiro Sports Center. Prior to the game the Green & White honored four-year starter and two-time captain Sarah Garrette.
