Staten Island, NY – The 2012 Wagner College Football Team was honored at the Annual Touchdown Club Awards Banquet held at The Hilton Garden Inn on Saturday, February 16. 
 
The football program paid special respect to its 27-member senior class, a group that led Wagner through the depths of an 0-3 start, to the triumph of a nine-game winning streak, the school's first-ever Northeast Conference Football Championship and ensuing first-round NCAA FCS Playoff Victory over Colgate.

After completing its memorable 9-4 season, which included a 7-1 mark in the NEC, Wagner was ranked 21^st and 22nd, respectively, in the final two major FCS Polls.
 
The 27 Seahawk seniors are: OL Brendan Byrne, LB Theodore Clohessy , WR David Crawford, QB Nick Doscher, WR Danny Ford, OL Chris Furner, FB Kenny Howard, DL Adams Issaka, LB Tom Klepper, TE Drew Ledet, LB Mike Lombardo, PK David Lopez , DB Matt McGuinness, DL Jake Meier, LB Mike Milone, OL Tyler Moyers , DB Pat O'Connor, LB Kevin Orender, OL Sean Pearson , DB Torian Phillips, LB C.O. Prime, WR Darnell Sapps, WR Justin Sciarra, TE Joe Sidaras , DB Sidiq Soulemana, DL Jerome Williams.
 
Team MVP honors went to record-setting quarterback Nick Doscher (Staten Island, NY/ Moore Catholic), fellow Staten Islander and outside linebacker Theodore Clohessy (St. Joseph By the Sea) while running back Dominque Williams (Bridgeton, NJ/ Milford Academy). While Doscher and Clohessy will graduate in May, Williams will return for his senior season. The three major individual award winners were
