Dominique Williams (Bridgeton, NJ /
Bridgeton / Milford Academy) was named the Northeast Conference (NEC) Offensive Player of the Week following his big performance in Wagner's 31-30 non-conference victory against Holy Cross this past Saturday at Hameline Field.
The win was the seventh-straight for a Seahawk team that will be looking for its first-ever NEC Championship and Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) automatic bid on Saturday, November 17 at 12:00 pm against Duquesne.

Williams was both Wagner's leading rusher and receiver in Week 11, running the ball 23 times for 177 yards to go along with a team-best five reception for 47 yards. His first score of the day, a five-yard rushing touchdown, gave Wagner a 14-3 lead with 3:48 remaining in the first half. After the visitors scored 24 unanswered points to take a 27-14 lead over the Seahawks, Williams helped lead the Green & White back. His 10-yard touchdown reception midway through the fourth quarter pulled Wagner to within one score at 30-24.
Williams' seventh 100-yard game of the season helped the Garden State native to become the first conference player to top the 1,000-yard plateau this year. On the year, he has 1,064 yards on 200 carries (5.3 ypc) with nine touchdowns. His season-high total of 177, including 136 in the opening half, also vaulted Williams over the 1,000-yard plateau for the second-straight year.
