Jacksonville, FL - Rookie linebacker Julian Stanford was profiled by Jacksonville Jaguars senior writer John Oehser earlier today in an article entitled, "Truly Blessed."

Oehser examines Stanford's rapid rise from undrafted free agent to his current role of special teams standout and integral member of the Jaguars' linebacking corp.

On the year, the 2011 First Team All-Northeast Conference selection has played in all five games, making six solo and three assisted tackles.

Stanford is one of just two former NEC players (Miles Austin (Monmouth) - Dallas) currently on an active roster in the NFL.
