Dominique Williams (Bridgeton, NJ / Milford Academy) is the Wagner College Male Athlete of the Month following a spectacular September. The 5-9, 200-pound speedster ran for 100 yards or more in three straight games and leads the team in both rushing yardage with 376 and TDs with seven. Following a 21-carry, 131-yard, two-TD effort vs. North Dakota St., he was named the NEC Freshman of the Week. Williams capped the month with a 102-yard, four-TD performance in Wagner’s thrilling 56-48 triple-overtime win over Saint Francis (PA).
Freshman
Julie Vigliotti (Staten Island, NY / Notre Dame Academy) has been tabbed the Wagner College Female Athlete of the Month for her performance during the month of September. Vigliotti has started all nine games this season and played an integral role on the team. A highlight of her young career came on September 6 when Vigliotti scored two goals to helped key the Seahawks’ 7-0 victory over Delaware St. She has also recorded 22 shots on the season, nine of which have been on goal, and has added one assist.
